Health before everything
Every breeding dog is DM tested with hips and elbows screened. Failing dogs are never bred, and two DM carriers are never paired.

The Vom Kylohaus standard
A breeding program with a reason
The goal is simple: produce healthy, clear-headed, versatile Shepherds—and place each one where its natural strengths can thrive.
These dogs are family first. They live in the home, are raised with daily handling and real-life exposure, and are never reduced to a color, pedigree, or sale. Every pairing and every placement begins with health, temperament, and honest communication.
Every breeding dog is DM tested with hips and elbows screened. Failing dogs are never bred, and two DM carriers are never paired.
Puppies are evaluated as they develop so drive, confidence, and energy align with the right active companion, sport, or working home.
Every placement includes a two-year genetic, hip, and elbow guarantee—plus lifetime breeder support after the puppy goes home.
One breed. Different paths.
Not every puppy belongs in the same kind of home. Honest evaluation helps protect the dog, the family, and the future they share.
Balanced dogs for experienced homes ready to train, engage, and include their Shepherd in everyday life.
Motivated puppies with the drive and biddability for structured training, competition, and dog sports.
Purposeful placements for capable handlers seeking drive, confidence, focus, and functional temperament.

Why the name matters
Kylo's complete story belongs in the breeder's own words. It is the personal reason Vom Kylohaus exists and the standard behind every health decision the program makes.

A clear process sets expectations early and keeps the focus on long-term fit—not impulse or appearance alone.
Share your home, experience, goals, and the life you want to build with your dog.
We discuss fit, expectations, timing, and whether a working-line Shepherd is right for you.
Puppies are assessed as they develop, with temperament and drive guiding placement decisions.
The right puppy is matched to the right home—purpose and temperament come before color.
Prepared for the first day homeWhat comes with your puppy
Every family leaves with a properly vetted puppy, clear records, useful supplies, and a breeder who remains available when questions come up.
Before you apply
Gender, coat, and color preferences are considered, but temperament and long-term fit guide the final match. Puppies are evaluated as they develop before placement is confirmed.
Breeding dogs are DM tested and have their hips and elbows screened. The program does not breed failing dogs or pair two DM carriers.
Puppies generally go home on prepaid limited AKC registration. Full registration may be discussed for approved homes and appropriate dogs under the program's contract requirements.
Pickup and transport options may be available, including airport coordination. Specific arrangements, costs, and responsibilities should be discussed before a deposit is placed.
